Abstract | ||||
The study deals with the testing of the web applications of the sites of Egyptian libraries and information using the Vega program to identify the security gaps in the section sites And then work to reform them, The problem of the study is evident in the presence of many security vulnerabilities in the websites because of the lack of qualified expertise and competencies, as well as the absence of a security system that deterrent attempts to penetrate, The study is important for the importance of information security and protection from penetration and to anticipate risks and anticipate taking the necessary precautions the best way to protect against penetration, The study aims to identify types of security vulnerabilities, methods of repair, identify the programs and tools used in the process of testing the penetration of web applications and protection from gaps, The most important results of the study are that the information gaps are 54% of the total security risk while the high security vulnerabilities are 30%, the intermediate risk is 6% and the low risk is 10%. 94% of the sites in the Egyptian libraries and information departments have security gaps, only 6% A security vulnerability, and there are 24 types of gaps in the sites of the Egyptian libraries and information department | ||||
