Abstract | ||||
The study aims to prepare a proposed training program to develop the creative skills of smart fashion design on a group of trainees from the students of Readymade Garment Departments in Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University and Academy of Arts, Ministry of Culture, as students of today and designers of tomorrow, to acquire smart fashion design skills to pave the way for them to learn about their creative abilities and express them in the field of smart clothing by answering the following questions: - What are the components of the proposed training program? - What is the effectiveness of the proposed program for developing smart fashion design skills? - What are the trainees' attitudes towards developing smart fashion design skills after studying the proposed program? The program was implemented to achieve its objectives and ensure its hypotheses to provide the trainee with knowledge, skills and trends of smart fashion, as well as the measurement tools of the study after applying the proposed program to ensure its effectiveness. Statistical processing techniques (T test) were used to extract the results and verify the hypotheses, and it was found that there is statistical significance level at 0.05 in favor of the post-test of cognitive testing and the skill performance of students. This indicates their benefit from knowledge, information and skills included in the program. Students' attitudes towards the proposed program were positive. | ||||
