Abstract | ||||
From hexane extract of Avicennia officinalis L. Lupeol, betulinic acid, ursolic acid and betulin were isolated. In addition, 4',5-dihydroxy, 3',7- dimethoxy flavone, and 8-0-acetyl harpagid iridoid were isolated from ethyl acetate extract of the plant. The identification of these compounds, was based on, physical, chemical and spectral studies including UV, IR, 1H-NMR and mass analysis. | ||||
