Abstract | ||||
From the chloroformic extract of Crotalaria thebaica (Del.)Dc. herb, three pyrrolizidine alkaloids, Spectabiline, Monocrotaline and Crosemperine as well as b-sitosterol glycoside and daidzein were isolated. From the methanol extract, two saponins sere isolated and identified in the form of their methyl esters. The identity of the isolated compounds was based on studies of their physical, chemical and spectral analysis including UV, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and MS. | ||||
