Abstract | ||||
This paper presents a new methodology to estimate the membership values for fuzzy sets. This methodology takes into account the experimental data which reflects the expert knowledge on the relative degree of belonging o\f the members to each other in the fuzzy sets. After that the methodology searches for the optimal membership values of the elements by implementing the linear programming model. An illustrative numerical example is given to point out the given methodology. | ||||
