Abstract | ||||
The research aimed to study the current status of the wheat crop in North Sinai Governorate- Egypt, through the economic description of the most important variables related to this crop, Determine the factors that have the greatest impact on productivity within the sample, and study production costs and the statistical measurement of the cost functions, and estimate the production and economic efficiency of the crop. The results showed a statistically significant positive relation between the quantity of production of the wheat crop and the quantity of seed, the amount of nitrogen fertilizer, the volume of human labor, the number of automatic working hours and the elasticity of the total production is 0.839, which indicates the optimal use of the elements of production, the economic efficiency reached 1.12, 1.38, 1.27, 1.16 for the elements of the quantity of seed, the quantity of manure Azuti, human labor and the number of hours worked automatic, respectively, during season 2017. The statistical measurement of the function of the cost of production of the wheat crop under the rainwater irrigation system in 2017, it was found that the maximum size of the profits and the optimal size of production, reached about 2567.5, 1083.2 kg, respectively. As for the economic profitability indicators of rain wheat crop, the return on variable costs, net return, added value was about L.E 3616, 2360.9, 4183.7/fad., respectively. As for the economic efficiency measures, the results showed that the return of the invested pound, the margin of product profit, economic efficiency amounted to about 67.0%, 40.1%, 1.2, respectively. | ||||
