Abstract | ||||
This study aimed to identify the effect of coordination abilities on learning ofensive, defensive and cognitive skills in Handball. A non-equivalent pre to post-test design was applied using 40 students (assigned randomly into experimental and control group). Integrating the coordination drills into skill learning exercises has an effective result on the development of the skill level of the research sample. Coordination drills have a positive effect on the development of the level of skill tests. Developing the skill tests is moving upward as a result of the continuation of practicing coordination drills. Coordination drills increases stored motor abilities of students, which appeared in complex tests. The instruction method for performing some offensive, defensive and cognitive skills in Handball has a simple effect compared to the method used with the experimental group. The experimental group was better than the control group in the performance level of some offense and defensive skills as well as the cognitive level. | ||||
