Abstract | ||||
The research problem is the attempt to discover the expressive and aesthetic aspects of lithography through lithographs. In order to consolidate the Saudi identity and then belong to the homeland. The aim of the research is to uncover the formalities of lithography, as a technique that enriches the plastic process in the field of artistic printing, that enables discovering new creative and artistic properties and practicing more experimentation and expertise in this field of artistic printing - in the Kingdom, as well as identifying the characteristics of lithography, which is an artistic excitement for print art connoisseurs. Art in the Kingdom and abroad, which will raise understanding of new creative and plastic aspects. To achieve the goal of the research, a comparative historical approach was followed to study the origins and development of printing art in the world and to follow the analytical approach in studying the trends and philosophy of the various art schools as well as in studying some of the works of the most famous international and Arab artists in the field of lithography and the descriptive approach in the implementation of artistic works Of the researcher. The researcher was able to produce artworks of aesthetic and expressive values that express Saudi identity with lithographic printing techniques. It also concluded that the lithographic artistic printing has a specificity and properties that are different from the rest of the techniques of the artistic printing: it is a chemical technique that relies on the theory of repulsion of fat and water. Likewise, the discovery of the lithographic printing technique enabled artists throughout the ages to produce artwork that helped establish identity to take new creations Its location on the map of cultural heritage and the affirmation of the national identity. | ||||
