Abstract | ||||
Purpose – The research aims to suggest a model for managing the potential risk of group tourism in light of security and safety measures in international airports, which will serve as an intellectual structure governing practical procedures in managing tourism risk. Design/methodology/approach-The research used the modern scientific method to test the nature of the current state of security and safety measures, and their role in reducing the potential risk of group tourism in Egypt, then outlining the potential risk determinants of group tourism in light of security and safety measures at airports. Findings –The results of the research were acceptance of the hypothesis that the proposed model reduces the potential risk of group tourism in light of security and safety measures in international airports and provides an intellectual structure of goals, concepts, assumptions, and important principles to control the management of the potential risk of group tourism. | ||||
