| Abstract | ||||
| Naṣr Ḥāmid Abū Zaid (1943-2010) is considered one of the new modern intellectuals who is studying the Meccan and Medinean revelations. A chapter in his work Mafhūm an-naṣṣ, dirāsa fīʿulūm al-Qurʾān is dedicated to this topic.According to Abū Zaid, the distinction between Meccan and Medinean revelation should be based on the reality of life at that time and the text in terms of content and form itself. According to Abū Zaid, the traditions of the prophet companions and their successors as well as the criteria of language or content that the old Muslim scholars rely on when making a distinction are not sufficient. Therefore he proposes the criterion of the style of the Koran text. In this context, Abū Zaid presents two stylistic peculiarities. The first is the length or brevity of the Koranic verses and the second is Al-fāṣila. Abū Zaid thereby aims at the connection of the Koran text with the reality of life. Al-fāṣila can e.g. B. perceive within the similarity of the mechanisms of the Koran text with the mechanisms of the other texts of the culture at that time. According to Abū Zaid, the language of the Koran text is influenced by the language of the culture at that time and there is a similarity between the Koran text and the man-made texts. Abū Zaid then speaks of the views of old Muslim scholars when the timing of the Meccan and Medinean revelation is not possible. In his view, the scholars tended to approximate the contradicting traditions in which the Koranic text appears Meccan and Medinean. As an example of the approximation of contradicting reports, Abū Zaid cites Quran verse 85 from Sura 17. The views of ancient Muslim scholars and Abū Zaid were analyzed in detail in the study. يعد نصر حامد أبو زيد أحد المفکرين المعاصرين الذين اهتموا ببحث مسألة التفرقة بين المکي والمدني في القرآن، فقد أفرد لها فصلا مستقلا في کتابه مفهوم النص – دراسة في علوم القرآن. يرى أبو زيد أن معيار التمييز بين المکي والمدني يجب أن يستند إلى الواقع وإلى النص من حيث مضمونه وبنائه، وأن الروايات حول المکي والمدني ومعيار المضمون الذي وضعه علماء القرآن القدامى کلاهما غير حاسم في مسألة التفرقة بين ما هو مکي وما هو مدني في القرآن، لذا يلجأ أبو زيد إلى معيار الأسلوب، وقد حدد اثنتين من الخصائص الأسلوبية التي تساعد على التمييز بين المکي والمدني، وهما طول وقصر الآيات ومراعاة الفاصلة، ويهدف أبو زيد من خلال هاتين الخصيصتين إلى ربط القرآن بالواقع الذي نشأ فيه، فالفاصلة على سبيل المثال دليل على تشابه آليات نص القرآن مع آليات النصوص الأخرى في الثقافة. ويتحدث أبو زيد بعد ذلک عن آراء علماء المسلمين القدامى عندما يکون التفريق بين ما هو مکي وبين ما هو مدني أمر غير ممکن. ويري أن العلماء يميلون الى التلفيق بين الروايات. ويعرض مثالا لهذا الآية 85 من سورة الإسراء، الذي اختلف العلماء في کونها مکية أو مدنية وذلک لاختلاف الروايات الواردة حول سبب نزولها، وقد نوقش في البحث الآراء المختلفة حول مکية الآية أو مدنيتها وکذلک رأي أبو زيد. | ||||
