| ABSTRACT Commercial area considered in any city of the most important pillars of the development of society, we find that the core commercial since ancient times is the core upon which to build the city of the Urban Hand attract investment and create jobs in the city, and social status in human and released him from the various activities significantly affect resulting in urban and architectural community, as well as benefit us in how to recognize the extent of adaptation of man with the surrounding environment and adapt it to different needs. The research aims to achieve several points as follows: 1- Emphasizing the importance of using commercial centers as public urban spaces for the city. 2- Monitoring the reasons for the emergence and development of the concept of commercial centers at the global level in general and in Egypt in particular. 3- Analysis of commercial centers at the city level and their relationship to the urban planning. 4- Monitoring the development of urban and architectural concepts and standards for commercial centers located inside and outside the city. | ||||
