Abstract | ||||
The study seeks to evaluate the pattern of low-income housing in new cities according to the standards of urban ecology, by relying on the inductive and analytical approach in dealing with the concepts of urban ecology and its factors influencing the direction of the housing pattern and determining the dimensions and standards that suit the Egyptian situation, as the study relied on ecological factors. Which is based on the relationship between humans and the built environment in general and the residential environment in particular, The deductive analytical approach in analyzing low-income housing projects and programs proposed by the Egyptian state since 1952 until now, and comparing them to regional and global experiences that adopted the ideology of urban ecology, with the aim of evaluating the Egyptian experience and clarifying whether it has achieved its goal of meeting the needs of its residents qualitatively and not quantitatively in light of Study of urban ecology and its relationship with various factors of urban development. | ||||
