| Abstract | ||||
| لقد درج النقاد على دراسة الجمال في النص وأدبيته من خلال دراستهم للشكل بمعزل عن المضمون، يشترك في ذلك أصحاب التوجهات النقدية التى تهمل المعنى، وتفصل بينه وبين الأدب من حيث هو أدب، أو حتى تلك التوجهات النقدية التى تؤمن بالدور الرسالي للأدبي، في السطور التالية نحاول تناول بعد آخر للجمال في النص الأدبي، حيث الإيمان بأن الجمال يرتبط بثراء المضمون وعمق الرؤية، وكلما امتلك النص رؤية أعمق وأغزر كلما ضاعف ذلك من جمال النص واكتماله. تناولت الدراسة هذه القضية من خلال الموازنة بين مسرحيتى "الأيدي الناعمة" "لتوفيق الحكيم"، و"جلفدان هانم" "لعلي أحمد باكثير"، فعلى الرغم من تشابه الموضوع الذي تناقشه المسرحيتان فإن اختلاف الرؤية والمنظور الذي ينظر منه الكاتب أدى إلى تباين واضح في الرسالة. فعلى حين سرت الاشتراكية ورؤيتها الأحادية في روح نص "الحكيم"، فالتبس النص بمفاهيم النفعية المادية المباشرة، فحلت الدولة وحل العمل بالمفهوم النفعي المادي في صدارة المشهد، وخفت أو كاد يختفي صوت الإنسان، وآماله، وإرادته. أدت رؤية "باكثير" التى اتسمت بالتكامل إلى النظر إلى العمل من جهة ارتباطه بالإنسان، فالعمل مفهوم يكتسب قيمته من إنسانيته، وهكذا سار "باكثير" في طريق معاكس للطريق الذي سار فيه "الحكيم" فعلى حين كان العمل غاية "الحكيم" كانت غاية "باكثير" الإنسان. تولد الجمال في النص كمنتج عفوى تلقائي لتلك الرؤى، فكان الصراع في نص "الحكيم" صراعًا شكليًا، واتسم بالبساطة والتسطيح، بينما حاول "باكثير" أن يجسد صراعًا حيًا بين إرادات إنسانية متباينة تسعى إلى تأكيد كينونتها الحرة دون انتقاص أو مساومة. لم تعكس الشخصيات في "الأيدي الناعمة" أنماطًا إنسانية متنوعة، وسارت الشخصيتان الرئيستان في خط مستقيم صاعد، على حين تنوعت رؤى ودوافع الشخصيات في "جلفدان هانم" وسارت الشخصيتان الرئيستان في خط منحن فبدت أكثر نضجًا وتركيبًا وتعبيرًا عن الإنسان في علوه وتساميه وفي ضعفه ودنوه . جنح "الحكيم" إلى المباشرة لإيصال الرسالة التي يريد إيصالها من نصه فعمد إلى التكرار، بدا الحوار على لسان الشخصيات بمثابة بوق لأفكار المؤلف، بينما عمد "باكثير" إلى بث رسالته خلال حوار متعدد الأصوات، فبدا الحوار كجوقة تتضافر عناصرها لتجسيد المعنى الذي أراده الكاتب. : Critics have long been accustomed to examining the beauty and literary quality of a text by studying its form in isolation from its content. This tendency appears among critical schools that dismiss meaning and separate it from literature as literature, as well as among those that believe in literature’s didactic purpose. In the following lines, we attempt to address another dimension of beauty in the literary text, rooted in the conviction that beauty is tied to the richness of content and the depth of vision. The more profound and abundant the perspective a text offers, the greater its beauty and completeness. This study explores the issue through a comparison between Tawfiq al-Hakim’s play Al-Aydī al-Nā‘ima (“Soft Hands”) and ʿAlī Aḥmad Bākathīr’s play Julfudān Hānim. Despite the similarity in the themes tackled by both plays, the difference in each author’s viewpoint led to strikingly different messages. While socialism and its monolithic outlook flowed through the spirit of al-Hakim’s text, causing it to be tinged with notions of direct material utility—placing the state and labor in its utilitarian sense at center stage and all but silencing the voice of the individual and his hopes and will—Bākathīr’s more holistic perspective sees work in relation to human beings. In this view, work derives its value from its inherent humanity. Thus, Bākathīr took a path opposing that of al-Hakim: whereas work was al-Hakim’s ultimate goal, mankind was Bākathīr’s. The beauty in each text arises spontaneously and naturally from these respective visions. In al-Hakim’s play, the conflict remains largely superficial and simplistic, whereas Bākathīr endeavors to depict a living struggle between divergent human wills, each striving to affirm its free existence without compromise or loss. The characters in Soft Hands do not mirror a wide variety of human types, and the two principal characters follow a straightforward upward trajectory. By contrast, in Julfudān Hānim, the characters’ motives and perspectives are more diverse, and the two main protagonists progress along a more sinuous path, appearing richer and more complex, more indicative of human nature in both its lofty transcendence and its frailty. In seeking to convey his message, al-Hakim tends toward directness, resorting to repetition, and leaving the characters’ dialogue sounding like a mouthpiece for the author’s own ideas. Bākathīr, on the other hand, weaves his message into a many-voiced dialogue. This dialogue resembles a choir whose elements join together to embody the meaning the writer intended | ||||
