Abstract
This study aimed to recognize the structural model which measures the role of mindfulness as a Mediating Variable in relationship between executive functions and prosocial behavior in a sample of adolescents, it aimed also to comparing between males and females in mindfulness, executive functions and prosocial behavior, The sample of the study included 200 students in adolescence, (Males= 99, Females= 101), whose ages ranged between (14-17) years, with an average age of (15.44) and a standard deviation of (0.93). The measures used in the study Five Factor Mindfulness Questionnaire, Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function, and Prosocial behavior scale. The results indicated that there is a correlation between the variables of the study, the results also concluded that the mindfulness plays a mediating role in the relationship between executive functions (Inhibition, shifting and working memory) and prosocial behavior in adolescents. In addition, there were no differences between males and females in the three variables of the study. هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن دور التعقل كمتغير وسيط في العلاقة بين الوظائف التنفيذية والسلوك الاجتماعي الإيجابي لدى عينة من المراهقين، كما تهدف الدراسة إلى المقارنة بين الذكور والإناث في متغيرات الدراسة، وذلك على عينة قوامها (200) طالباً وطالبة في مرحلة المراهقة، بواقع (99 ذكور، 101 إناث)، وتراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (14 – 17) سنة، وذلك بمتوسط عمري قدره (15.44) وانحراف معياري قدره (0.93). وتم استخدام مقياس العوامل الخمسة لليقظة العقلية ترجمة عبد الرقيب البحيري وآخرون (2014)، ومقياس التقدير السلوكي للوظائف التنفيذية ترجمة أحمد هلال (2010)، ومقياس السلوك الاجتماعي الإيجابي ترجمة الباحثة. وكشفت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود علاقات ارتباطية موجبة بين متغيرات الدراسة، كما توصلت النتائج إلى أن التعقل يؤدي دورًا وسيطًا في العلاقة بين الوظائف التنفيذية بأبعادها التي تضمنت كل من (الكف، والتحويل، والذاكرة العاملة) والسلوك الاجتماعي الإيجابي لدى المراهقين، بالإضافة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المراهقين من الذكور والإناث فى التعقل والوظائف التنفيذية (الكف، والتحويل، والذاكرة العاملة) والسلوك الاجتماعي الإيجابي.
