| Abstract | ||||
| هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل التوزيع المكاني للفنادق في مدينة الوجه، ومدى ارتباطها وتكاملها مع الخدمات السياحية الأساسية الأخرى مثل المواقع الأثرية، الشواطئ، المطاعم، والمطار، باستخدام تقنيات نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS). أظهرت نتائج تحليل معامل صلة الجوار (Nearest Neighbor Analysis – NNA) أن توزيع الفنادق يتسم بنمط عشوائي تقريباً، حيث بلغ معامل صلة الجوار R القيمة 1.0046 وكانت قيمة z-score مساوية لـ 0.0216، مما يدل على غياب استراتيجيات تخطيطية واضحة للتوزيع المكاني لهذه المنشآت. أما تحليل المسافة المعيارية فقد أظهر أن 68% من الفنادق تقع ضمن دائرة تشتت مكانية حول مركز متوسط يقع بالقرب من فندق Raleen Sea Hotel، مع تشتت نسبي لبعض الفنادق في الاتجاهين الشمالي الغربي والجنوبي الشرقي، مما يؤكد عدم التجانس في توزيع الفنادق عبر المدينة. كما كشفت الدراسة قرب معظم الفنادق من المطار والطرق الرئيسية والشواطئ، مما يعزز من جاذبية مدينة الوجه كوجهة سياحية ساحلية ذات وصول سهل، إلا أن ضعف التكامل المكاني مع المطاعم والمواقع الأثرية يمثل تحدياً هاماً. فغياب الفنادق ضمن مسافات مثالية (أكثر من 1000 متر) من المواقع الأثرية يشير إلى ضعف الربط بين قطاع الإقامة والسياحة الثقافية، كما أن معظم الفنادق ليست ضمن المسافة المثالية من المطاعم، باستثناء فندق Coral Reef Hotel، مما يؤثر سلباً على جودة تجربة الزائرين ويستدعي تطوير سياسات تخطيطية متكاملة. This study aimed to analyze the spatial distribution of hotels in Al-Wajh City and assess their connection and integration with other essential tourism services, such as archaeological sites, beaches, restaurants, and the airport, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques. The results of the Nearest Neighbor Analysis (NNA) showed that the distribution of hotels follows an almost random pattern, with the nearest neighbor index R reaching a value of 1.0046 and a z-score of 0.0216, indicating the absence of clear planning strategies for the spatial distribution of these establishments. The standard distance analysis revealed that 68% of the hotels are located within a spatial dispersion circle centered near the Raleen Sea Hotel, with some relative dispersion of hotels toward the northwest and southeast directions, confirming the lack of homogeneity in hotel distribution across the city. The study also revealed that most hotels are located near the airport, main roads, and beaches, which enhances Al-Wajh’s appeal as a coastal tourist destination with easy accessibility. However, the weak spatial integration with restaurants and archaeological sites presents a significant challenge. The absence of hotels within ideal distances (more than 1,000 meters) from archaeological sites points to a weak link between the accommodation sector and cultural tourism. Additionally, most hotels are not within the ideal distance from restaurants, except for the Coral Reef Hotel, which negatively impacts visitor experience quality and calls for the development of integrated planning policies. | ||||
