| Abstract | ||||
| يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة ظاهرة الإبهام في ألفاظ التجريح التي استخدمها أئمة الحديث في نقد الرواة، وهي ظاهرة لها أثر بالغ في توجيه الحكم على الحديث سندًا ومتنًا. وتكمن أهمية البحث في كونه يعالج مصطلحات نقدية لم تُدرَس باستقلال كافٍ، رغم تكررها في كتب الجرح والتعديل وقد ركّز البحث على تحليل الألفاظ الجارحة المبهمة، وتصنيف أنواع الإبهام التي قد تكتنفها، سواء أكان الإبهام ناشئًا عن اللفظ ذاته، أو عن السياق الذي ورد فيه، أو عن نسبية المقارنة بين الرواة. كما حاول الكشف عن الأسباب المتنوعة التي أدت إلى هذا الإبهام، وتتبّع أبعاده العلمية والمنهجية والاجتماعية. وجاءت هذه الدراسة في إطار وصفي تحليلي قائم على تتبع استعمالات المحدثين، دون تدخل في ألفاظهم أو تأويلها، مع توثيق دقيق من المصادر الأصلية، للوصول إلى تصور علمي رصين يسهم في ضبط هذا الباب الدقيق من أبواب علوم الحديث. This study explores the phenomenon of ambiguity in the terminology of disparagement used by hadith scholars when critiquing narrators. Such ambiguity has a significant impact on the acceptance or rejection of hadiths and their transmitters. Despite its frequent occurrence in classical hadith literature, this topic has not received sufficient independent scholarly attention. The research analyzes the ambiguous disparaging terms, classifies the types of ambiguity—whether stemming from the wording itself, the context in which it appears, or relative comparisons among narrators—and investigates the underlying causes behind such ambiguity, whether scientific, methodological, or sociopolitical. Using a descriptive and analytical approach, the study traces the usage of these terms by early critics without modifying or interpreting their expressions. The work relies on precise documentation from primary sources to present a rigorous scholarly perspective that contributes to a deeper understanding of this nuanced area in hadith sciences. | ||||
