Abstract | ||
Given the importance of (designing and preparing patterns) in the clothing industry and its impact on subsequent production stages, and because the skills of implementing "men's sweaters" are among the most important skills associated with the men's clothing industry, and in keeping with the age of technology and the development of educational methods and their connection to technology to suit the contemporary digital generation. The aim of the research was to design a training program using augmented reality in preparing models and techniques for implementing the vocabulary of men's sweater formation "front openings", and to measure its effectiveness as well as measuring the trainees' opinions towards the program. The research relied on the quasi-experimental approach, in addition to the descriptive approach. The following tools were prepared and applied (pre/post achievement and skill tests - an assessment scale - a questionnaire to survey the trainees' opinions towards the program), The validity and reliability of the tools were confirmed on a deliberate random sample of (45) graduates and students of specialized colleges. The research results reached the possibility of designing a training program using augmented reality in cognitive achievement and skill acquisition. The results confirmed that the program is effective in knowledge acquisition and skill acquisition The program includes many topics, and trainees had positive opinions about the program, which aims to develop their skills in preparing models and implementing the vocabulary for men’s sweaters. | ||
