| The Editorial Board of Textual Turnings, have retracted the following article: “The Space Aesthetics of In-Yer-Face Theatre in Phyllis Nagy’s The Strip.” Textual Turnings Vol2, 2020. Since its publication, this article has drawn significant criticism due to extensive, unreferenced similarities with the following previously published dissertation: THE LONDON PLAYS OF PHYLLIS NAGY: Distorting Space In-Yer-Face by Jason Bisping B.A. Saint Cloud State University, 2001. Available at: http://gateway.proquest.com/openurl?url_ver=Z39.88-2004&rft_val_fmt=info:ofi/fmt:kev:mtx:dissertation&res_dat=xri:pqdiss&rft_dat=xri:pqdiss:1446096. The author couldn't adequately explain the substantial overlap found. This constitutes a serious breach of our Editorial Policies, leading to the article's retraction from the journal. Our decision was guided by our publishing ethics and integrity policy. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be marked as ‘Retracted’. | ||||
