Abstract | ||||
A technique is presented for computing the inducted currents and secondary fields produced when a spherical reflector is illuminated by an electric dipole. An integral equation for the inducted current is formulated. The current is obtained in a series form. Each term of the series satisfies the boundary and edge conditions on the reflector. Expressions for the secondary fields in the far-zone are also given, some numerical results are then presented. | ||||
