Abstract | ||||
The acute effect of total body X-irradiation on the liver was studied histopathologically and histochemically in adult male Baladi rabbits. In haemaoxylin and eosin stained sections, the irradiated liver showed hepatopathic changes of the parenchyma. Histochemically, an increase in acid and decrease in alkaline phosphatase enzymes had been detected. | ||||
