Abstract | ||||
Two main printing techniques are used for the quantitative production of plastic films, flexographic and rotogravure printing, and both of them have distinctive characteristics, The research aims at the optimal use of HD Flexo techniques to achieve a competitive advantage in terms of quality, cost and processing time compared to rotogravure printing for plastic films used in food packaging, The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach and the experimental approach, by producing a food package of plastic films (chipsy) in a HD Flexo and rotogravure printing, passing through the stages of Prepress until the finishing stage, and then analyzing the elements of cost, quality and production time, Through the results of measurements and analyses, researchers found that The quality of the rotogravure print can be matched using HD Flexo techniques The research problem lies in how to employ modern technologies to prepare HD Flexo to achieve a printing quality comparable to rotogravure printing for plastic films used in food packaging? research importance Benefiting from the competitive advantage of flexographic printing for plastic films in terms of cost and surface preparation time, while achieving a print quality comparable to rotogravure by employing HD Flexo processing technology. | ||||
