Abstract: The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a program based on sensory integration in reducing stereotypical behavior in a sample of autistic children who have stereotyped movements. Their ages ranged between (4-9) years, and a set of tools were applied, including the sensory integration form (prepared by researchers), and the scale of stereotypical behavior (prepared by researchers).The results of the research indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the two measurements, before and after the group under investigation, on the stereotypical behavior of autistic children in favor of the dimensional measurement and attributed to the use of the sensory integration program, which indicates the effectiveness of sensory integration in reducing stereotypical behavior among autistic children. | ||||
