Abstract | ||||
The Egyptian government has issued many decisions, which have been translated in the form of procedures that attempt to limit and control the spread of the new Corona virus. These procedures aim to achieve social distancing between individuals to limit mixing between individuals and control the spread of that pandemic. This study aims to identify the commitment of extent of the food and beverage establishments to these procedures to confront the emerging Covid-19, while identifying the customers' evaluation of these procedures in the hospitality establishments under study. In addition, this study aims to determining the relationship, if any, between the commitment of the establishments under study to the precautionary procedures and the preference and loyalty of customers to those establishments. The results indicated a strong direct correlation between the commitment of hospitality establishments to follow the procedures during the pandemic period and both the preference and the loyalty of customers to those establishments. The results also confirmed the positive impact of the commitment of the food and beverage establishments studied to follow the procedures during the pandemic period on both the preference and loyalty of customers. Accordingly, the two hypotheses of the study were accepted as there is a strong positive impact with statistical significance for the extent of commitment of food and beverage establishments to follow procedures during the pandemic period on both the preference and the loyalty of customers to those establishments | ||||
