Abstract | ||||
Designing Criteria of Augmented Reality Environments based on Gamification Presented to the Early Childhood Stage By Asmaa Gamal El-deen Ali Khalil Assistant Lecturer in Education Technology-Basic Sciences Faculty of Early Childhood Education Fayoum University Dr. Amal Rabea Kamel Professor of Curriculum and Instruction Ex-Dean of Faculty of Education Fayoum University Dr. Zeinab Mohamed Ameen Professor of Education Technology Ex-Dean of Faculty of Specific Education Minia University 2021 A.D./ 1442 Hj. Summary The augmented reality environments are one of the e-learning environments. They should be applied after carrying out scientific studies determining how they can be constructed, designed, used, and implemented in the educational situations on the internet. Thus, the current research aims at developing a list of quality criteria for designing augmented reality environments based on gamification presented to Early Childhood Stage. The researchers used the analytical descriptive method to review the criteria in literature and related studies in relation to the quality criteria of the augmented reality and the quality of the gamification environments as well. The research instrument is a binary questionnaire (important-not important) to survey the opinions of experts and specialists in both the education technology field and the development of educational websites field. The instrument is also used to identify the validity of the criteria and indicators and their relation to the augmented reality environment and gamification. The research sample consisted of (20) jury members. After carrying out the statistical procedures of the results, a number of criteria were found. Based on those criteria, the gamification environment is designed and developed to be presented to children at the early childhood stage. The criteria included: eight main criteria, ten sub-ones, and (110) indicators grouped into two fields: educational field and technological technical field. Key Words: Designing Criteria- Augmented Reality- Early Childhood Stage. | ||||
