Abstract | ||||
The study aimed at introducing sustainable strategic planning and management, analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks of Egypt's water resources management system. The study community was the planning sector and the National Center for Water Research in the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt. The field study method was based on a survey list containing a set of questions. (228) singular on the study community and one of the most important findings of the study is an expulsive relationship between contemporary variables, Social variables, and economic variables on the sustainable strategic management of Egypt's water resources, One of the study's most important recommendations is to develop strategic management of current water resources, increase water efficiency, consider cost recovery for irrigation services and promote the use of non-traditional water sources and supporting research into the safe reuse of treated and saltwater, Start using sustainable desalination methods based on renewable sources of energy such as solar energy and nuclear power generated, in addition to expanding the private sector's participation in water resources development into a competitive industry with its own market to support economic efficiency and cost reduction. | ||||
