ABSTRACT: The current study aimed to identify the role of kindergarten teachers in developing the achievement motivation level among children and methods of deepening such motivation from the viewpoints of the principals. The study made use of the descriptive method making use of a questionnaire as an instrument for collecting the study data. The instruments were administered to a sample consisting of (159) principals who were categorized in the light of the governorate and experience. The results of the study showed that the kindergarten teachers played their roles in developing the level of achievement motivation among the children to an average degree from the viewpoints of the study participants. Furthermore, the participants’ approval of the proposed methods was high and there were no differences in the responses of the study participants due to the governorate variable. However, there were differences due to the experience variable. In the light of the results attained, the study recommended taking advantage of the proposed methods to deepen the role of female teachers in developing the level of achievement motivation among children. The study also recommended encouraging the continuous development of the teachers, which enables them to follow-up the new trends in the educational field continuously and develop their professional level. It was also recommended that schools should hold training courses about achievement motivation and methods of development, especially among children. | ||||
