Abstract | ||||
Abstract The tourism sector is one of the most important economic sectors in Egypt because of its economic and social dimensions together. It represents a significant space in the lives of individuals and the country as a whole. This sector carries many positive and negative results that distinguish it because of its high flexibility in demand. There is a need to improve the performance of this sector so that it can withstand a fierce global confrontation. This sector has a special importance derived from its impact on the performance structure of the national economy, as it is one of the most important sources of foreign exchange from abroad. It contributes to providing a large amount of jobs at home, and it also contributes to creating demands on all other economic sectors, such as agriculture, industry, information technology, civil aviation, and all means of transportation, as well as flights, communications, consumption, production, all ports, hotels, tourist villages, banks, and all internal and external trade operations. ..etc, which eventually leads to the existence of new channels that generate income, as it is a dynamic activity that has a driving role for all other economic sectors in the national economy. However, this sector in Egypt has faced many obstacles, problems and stumbling blocks after the January 2011 revolution, which changed the face of life in Egypt politically, economically and socially, as well as after the Corona epidemic (Covid 19). These obstacles had many negative effects on the national economy as a whole | ||||
