ABSTRACT We use an Eulerian Vlasov code for the numerical solution of the fully relativistic one-dimensional (1D) Vlasov- Maxwell equations, to study the generation of plasma wake fields by intense laser pulses. The very low noise level of the Vlasov code allows to study accurately the physics of the particles acceleration by the wake-field, in the very low density of the phase-space. | ||||
