| Abstract | ||||
| In this paper, the free convective heat in a steady two- dimensional stagnation-point flow past a stretching or (shrinking) sheet in a porous medium saturated with the nano-fluid is discussed in details. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into the ordinary differential equations by using a similarity transformation. The ordinary differential equations which are obtained are solved numerically by using the Rung-Kutta-Fehlberg method (shooting method). The numerical results which are obtained for different values of the governing parameters which are namely the nano-particle volume fraction parameter π , the shrinking parameter π, Prandtl number ππ, permeability parameter πΎ1 and Grashof number πΊπ and their influence on the velocity and temperature profiles have been presented graphically and discussed in detail . And by assuming that The nano-particle is πΆπ’ with nanometer-size , its diameter less than 50 nm and its shape is the sphere and the based fluid is water . | ||||
