Abstract | ||||
The research deals with classification and analysis of a sample of works of graphic art, created by its creators out of admiration, competition, or demolishing, with a work of art belonging to the past, or with the style of the creator of this ancient work. According to a literary classification by which the Arabs have been classified since ancient times, some of their poetry is divided into competition poetry (Muearadat) and demolition poetry (Naqaid). This is due to the strong similarity in the artistic motives that prompted Arab poets and graphic artists to create modern works of art that are linked to old ones. The research seeks to prove that this type of artistic competition that transcends time revealed a creative impulse that is worthy of tracking and analyzing its results to find out its aesthetic characteristics. The research classified the graphic works based on ancient works of art into what it called demolition graphics and competition graphics. He also divided the type of competition graphics into two levels, the first is simple and the second is complex. | ||||
