Abstract | ||||
The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a program based on blended learning in developing functional reading skills among Arabic language learners who speak other languages at the intermediate level in the light of their needs. These needs, a guide for the teacher and the student’s book, and a test to measure functional reading skills. The research group was chosen from Arabic language learners who speak other languages at the intermediate level, and it consisted of (16) learners. The research concluded that there is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of language learners Arabic speakers of other languages at the average level between the two applications: pre and post to test the functional reading skills _ as a whole_ in favor of the post application, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of Arabic language speakers of other languages at the intermediate level between the two applications: pre and post to test the functional reading skills _ in each skill separately_ in favor of the post application, and finally the research presented a set of recommendations and proposals related to the research results. | ||||
