Abstract | ||||
This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of a proposed program for the preparation of mathematics teachers in the faculties of education in the light of the state plan for sustainable development 2030 and its impact on the development of future thinking skills. The current research relied on two research approaches: The analytical descriptive approach: in order to prepare the theoretical background and previous studies, as well as in preparing research materials from the list of objectives of the proposed program, and the list of future thinking skills, and both (the lecturer's guide - the student's book), in addition to the research tools, which were represented in testing the skills of future thinking. The semi-experimental approach: to reveal the effectiveness of the proposed program for preparing students as mathematics teachers in the light of Egypt's 2030 plan for sustainable development in developing future thinking skills among students as mathematics teachers. In the experimental group on the proposed program with the application of training activities in a distinctive way for them, the research community was represented by all the students of the third and fourth year in the Mathematics Division of the College of Education, who numbered (55) students in the academic year 2022/2023 AD, where two groups of students were selected in the form of Random among them are as follows: The Exploratory Group: Their number is (20 male and female students), and they are the ones to whom the research tools were applied in order to statistically control these tools. The experimental group: They are the research group, their number is (30 male and female students), and they are the ones to whom the research tools were applied before and after, and the proposed program for preparing students as mathematics teachers in the light of Egypt's 2030 plan for sustainable development was applied to them. The results of the research concluded that "there are statistically significant differences (at the level of 0.05) between the pre and post measurements of the students of the experimental group in testing the skills of future thinking and its sub-dimensions for students of the Department of Mathematics in the Faculties of Education in favor of the post application." There is a significant impact of the mathematics teacher preparation program in the faculties of education in light of the state plan for sustainable development 2030 and its impact on the development of future thinking skills and its sub-dimensions after application. | ||||
