The aim of the present work is to study the ecological of some species of the order Passeriformes and estimate population density of hooded crow, Corvus corone cornix (L.) and house sparrow, Passer domesticus niloticus (L.) under three different habitats in old areas (Maabda Island -Manfalot district) at Assiut governorate.
