Abstract | ||||
The objective of the current research is to reveal the reality of the development of information and technology skills for basic education teachers in Libya, and to develop a proposal for the development of information and technology skills for basic education teachers in Libya. - The public basic education system in Libya is centralized, and does not undermine the powers and responsibilities of the ministry to the educational cities and districts. - The reality of teacher preparation in the basic education stage in Libya is low in terms of its level of performance, and that in its current situation and the problems it suffers from, it represents an obstacle to any educational development in it. - There is a weakness in the professional development programs for basic education teachers. The aspect of teacher training on modern techniques and skills in teaching is still in need of more effective development to achieve high quality education. | ||||
