Abstract | ||||
Abstract T he current study aimed to develop the critical reading skill using Web-Quest for special diploma students at Faculty of Graduate Studies for Education, Cairo University, Egypt .The sample consisted of thirty students of the special diploma of the faculty that were randomly selected. The study was conducted through the quasi- experimental method using Web-Quest strategy. The researcher used a list of critical reading sub- skills, a test for the critical reading skills to determine what students learned and a scoring rubric for correcting the test. The study indicated that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean score of the experimental group students in the pre-posttest on behalf of the post test at significance level (0.01) which is < (0.05). The results proved the effectiveness of using Web-Quest in developing the critical reading skills for special diploma students at Faculty of Graduate Studies for Education. | ||||
