Abstract | ||||
The present study was performed on Canino apricots to study the effect of postharvest treatment with AVG 50, 100 mg/L, 500, 1000 μg/L 1-MCP and 50, 100 η mol JA on fruit physical, chemical and storability characteristics during cold storage at 1 1˚C and 905 % RH. All treatments significantly preserved fruit firmness, decreased fruit weight loss percent and slowed acidity decrement. 1-MCP and AVG delayed the color changes and reduced the decay percent. The most effective treatments to maintain fruit quality up to 30 days were 1- MCP at 1000 μg/L followed by AVG at 100 mg/L. | ||||
