Abstract | ||||
Khans or hotels are an important point of economic activity between countries, and an important factor in linking trade routes. Therefore, states are interested in imposing security and peace on the territories they controlled. The khans played a major role in the economic prosperity, by attracting traders' convoys to pass through their lands, which served as stations on trade routes. This revives several trade routes. | ||||
