Abstract
هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى محاولة تحسين التوافق الشخصي والاجتماعي لدى الطلاب المتفوقين عقليا في المرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الکويت عن طريق قياس فعالية برنامج إرشادي يهتم بتحسين مستوى التوافق، وتتحدد مشکلة الدراسة الحالية في محاولة التحقق من فعالية برنامج إرشادي في تنمية التوافق الشخصي والاجتماعي لعينة من الطلاب المتفوقين عقليا بالصف السادس بدولة الکويت. تکونت عينة الدراسة من 50 طالبا متفوقا عقليا، من طلاب الصف السادس، تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين تجريبية وضابطة، متکافئتين ومتساويتين في العدد تعرضت إحداهما للبرنامج التدريبي، بينما لم تلق الأخرى أي تدريب.
شملت أدوات الدراسة اختبار المصفوفات المتتابعة لرافن تقنين فتحية عبد الرؤوف (2006)، بالإضافة إلى مقياس الشخصية للمرحلة المتوسطة إعداد وزارة التربية بدولة الکويت (2004) والبرنامج المقترح إعداد الباحثين.
وقد أسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في القياسيين القبلي والبعدي للتوافق الشخصي والاجتماعي بأبعاده الفرعية لدى المجموعة التجريبية في اتجاه القياس البعدي. وقد أثبتت النتائج النهائية أن النمو المقصود الذي طرأ على المجموعة التجريبية يعود للبرنامج الإرشادي المقترح، مما يدل على فعالية البرنامج الإرشادي في تنمية التوافق لدى طلاب الصف السادس. ومدى حاجة الطلبة المتفوقين إلى مثل هذه البرامج الإرشادية.
وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تزويد طلاب کليات التربية أثناء دراستهم بطبيعة الموهوب وخصائصه وسماته، وإنشاء مراکز للتوجيه والإرشاد النفسي تتبع الإدارات التعليمية المختلفة، کذلک ضرورة توفير البيئة المدرسية الملائمة القادرة على إتاحة أحسن الفرص للنمو المتکامل، وعقد ندوات تثقيفية وتقديم برامج ارشادية لتوعية الآباء والأمهات
The aim of the present study is to attempt to improve the personal and social adjustment among the intellectually gifted students in the middle school in Kuwait through assessing the effectiveness of a counseling program that aims to improve adjustment level. The problem of this study is to confirm the efficiency of this counseling program in promoting the personal and social adjustment among a sample of mentally gifted students in the sixth grade in Kuwait. The sample included (50) intellectually gifted students from the sixth grade, which were divided to equal experimental group, and control group. The first one was exposed to the training program, while the other one did not.
The study instruments comprised consecutive matrices test for Raven standardized by Fatheya Abdel-Ra’oof (2006), personality test for the middle school, developed by education ministry in Kuwait (2004), and the proposed program, which the researchers have developed.
The results showed that there was statistically significant differences between the pre and post assessment of the personal and social adjustment with its subdimensions, in the experimental group, in the direction of post assessment. This finding indicates that the program is effective in promoting adjustment among the sixth grade students, and that gifted students particularly need these counseling programs to a great degree.
The study recommended that it is necessary to provide students of faculties of education with the knowledge of the gifted students nature, qualities, and characteristics, to establish psychological counseling and guidance centers as a part of different educational districts; and to provide the adequate school environment which offer the opportunities to integrated development, and hold seminars and counseling programs that raise parents’ awareness with their children needs and talents.
